About /

Prior to Central Saint Martins, Marieje briefly studied Fine Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. She has worked for the Design Laboratory London on projects for Jaguar and Coca Cola. At the ICA London she led Interaction Design workshops and has exhibited her work for Illy Coffee at Salone de Mobile in Milan. She went on to do a MA at the Royal College of Art in Design Interactions.

Since then she has consulted her clients on how to engage with their customers through technology, including websites, apps, services, digital displays and installations.  Clients include the Stichting Papageno  and an entrepreneurial company bringing out new kitchen appliances. She is constantly on the look-out for new consumer trends in particular in relation to how users can enhance their day to day life experiences through technology.

Marieje strongly believes that using electronic devices and services should be a engaging experience while being aesthetically intriguing and providing lucid information.
